Crazy Craft Fair Prep

It has quickly become that time of year again that craft fairs are everywhere.  I love them!  Once again I am participating in the Oak Park craft fair here in town.  It hardly seems possible that in 6 days my mother and I will be setting up our displays and selling our wares.  Until then I will be very busy making cards.

Prep and Ending

I am coming to the end of the prep for the Open House on Saturday.  Tonight I was able to knock out all but one of the cards I want to display.  Yesterday I finished prepping all the Make and Take supplies.  Tomorrow I will work on finishing displays, setting up and last minute things I am sure will come up.

I am so excited.  Here are some sneak peaks, door prizes and display cards.

Merry Christmas!

This week has been a whirlwind of Christmas gatherings.  It is always great to spend time with all of our family members.  Somehow we have managed to get all presents wrapped and cards made in the mist of the chaos.  This is the card I made for my mom and dad this year.  My mom loves things that are small and really enjoyed the easel card we made at the December make and take.  I saw this on a demonstrator website and had to try it.  It was fun to make and Mom loved it!  I hope you enjoy it too!

Grandma's Christmas Card

Today we got to visit my husband's grandmother.  I love her.  From the first time I met her she has been nothing but loving, warm and easy going.  She currently lives in a nursing home and likes to display the card and pictures she gets.  This year I was inspired to make her what I call a lantern card.  She will be able to display it and have a bit of light shining through.

Now I am working on cards for the other grandmas.  I hope to finish tomorrow and post them soon.

3 by 3 How Cute You Can Be

Each month 3 fellow demonstrators and I get together at a local Panera and make a couple of 3x3 card fronts.  We have a great time and get some great ideas for our customers!

I am very excited for my December Make and Take this Saturday!  I am completely full!  These are the card we are going to make.  I have orders for some already!

Take a Pick

A customer wanted me to create a Christmas card for her using Christmas Lodge stamp set.  She gave me a basic idea of the look she was after.  I told her I would make up a couple and she could choose which one she wanted to make and I would let her know what she needed.  These are the ones that I came up with.
