Happy Father's Day 2012 Part 2

 Here are the other three cards.  The card above is actually more brown than it looks.  Natural lighting was not my friend.

 I chose Yellow!   This too has chocolate chip not purple. 

This one is actually 8.5 x 5.5.  I tried the normal 4.25 x 5.5 but the die cut letters just wouldn't fit.

Happy Father's Day!

 I was commissioned to make a Father's Day card for one of my mother's co-worker.  This is the first one of 3 - 4 that I will be showing her to choose from.  I feel like I am getting a head start on the Father's Day cards that I need!

 This series is an example of how I often work.  I try to decide how I want the placement and colors to look before I tape down.  I think I have the placement where I want it but I am toying with the color backgrounds that I want.  Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Meet Miss Molly

I have been really lax on blogging but I have been a bit distracted.  We recently got Molly and she has been a delight!  We love playing with her and having her lay on our laps.  I will be getting back to posting my cards and hopefully post more tonight.

This is the card my sister made for our mom for Mother's Day.  She is a Stampin' Up Demonstrator in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  She is very talented and I am glad to have her as part of my team!

Happy Birthday Part 1

This is the card I was commissioned to make for my mom for her birthday.  I know she likes these colors and had purchased this paper on her own.  I love this patina technique.  I think I will share with my Make and Take ladies.

Let Them Eat Cupcakes

Part of our homeschool curriculum this year is allowing our kids to work at a local Farmers Market.  They grow plants (although not over successful in this endeavor) and dog/cat treat that they are more successful at.  This week they had a special guest vendor, 3 Girls Cupcakes.  My youngest is pictured above eating the blueberry crumble cupcake.  He loved it and made an absolute mess! 

This is our set up.  My oldest son is behind the table selling his wares.  I made the labels using the Framelits Dies and Twiterpated paper.  In the middle of the table is the sign of their "store".  They have learned to make change subtract cost and profits and estimate demand.  So far so good!

Happy Mother's Day

In honor of Mother's Day I made this card for my mom.  I used smooch spray on the label punch.  Not sure that you can tell in this lighting.

I am not sure about you but I am super excited for June 1st!  That is the day the new Idea Book and Catalog comes out!   I have seen the preview and it is AWESOME!!!!!!  Until then, be sure to check out the retiring list!  Once they are gone they are gone!

Purse Alert!

I love these little purses!  With the purse die it was super easy to make these for my recent Open House.  It took more time to decide how to decorate than to make.  LOL!  I am super excited for the upcoming catalog.  If you haven't looked at the retired list it is a must see.
